Terms of Service
Last updated 1 November 2026
In short: Celenbase is software that places and cancels orders in your own venue account, inside limits you set. We never hold your funds. You are responsible for your trading and for following each venue's rules. Celenbase is not available to US persons or in restricted jurisdictions. Trading can lose money.
1. About these terms
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of the website at celenbase.xyz, the early-access list, and the Celenbase software service (together, the “Service”), provided by Celenbase (“Celenbase”, “we”, “us”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Before the software opens to users, the Service consists of this website and the early-access list only. Sections that describe the software apply from the moment you create an account and connect a venue.
2. Eligibility
You may use the Service only if all of the following are true:
- You are at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract.
- You are not a US person. A “US person” means any citizen or resident of the United States, any entity organised under US law, and anyone located in the United States while using the Service.
- You are not located in any jurisdiction where a venue you connect restricts access, and you are not subject to sanctions administered by the United Nations, the United States, the European Union or the United Kingdom.
- Your use of the Service and of each venue is lawful where you live.
You must not use a VPN, proxy or any other means to get around a venue's geographic restrictions or ours. We may ask for information to confirm eligibility and may refuse or end access at any time.
3. What Celenbase is, and is not
Celenbase is software. It runs a market-making engine that places and cancels orders in your own account on third-party prediction-market venues, according to the preset, markets and limits you choose.
Celenbase is not an exchange, broker, dealer, investment adviser, commodity trading adviser, fund, money transmitter or custodian. We do not give investment, legal or tax advice, we do not manage money on your behalf, and nothing on the Service is a recommendation to trade. You decide whether to use the Service, on which venues, with which settings, and you can stop at any time.
4. Your funds and your keys
The Service is non-custodial. Your funds stay in your account on the venue. We never hold, pool, borrow, lend or transfer them.
- You connect a venue by creating an API key or session key in your venue account, with the narrowest permissions the venue offers. We ask only for permission to place and cancel orders and never request permission to withdraw or transfer funds.
- Where a venue cannot limit a key to trading, we tell you before you connect it. Whether to connect such a venue is your decision.
- We store keys encrypted at rest, never log them, and use them only to place and cancel orders.
- You can revoke a key on the venue at any time, which immediately stops the Service from trading.
- You are responsible for the security of your venue account, your devices and your Celenbase login.
5. Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for every order placed in your account by the Service under your settings.
- You must read and follow the terms, rules and restrictions of every venue you connect.
- You must set limits you can afford and monitor your account and your markout.
- You are responsible for any taxes on your trading and on venue rewards.
- You have read the Risk Disclosure and understand that you can lose some or all of the funds you trade.
6. Third-party venues
Venues are independent third parties. We do not control their markets, order books, fees, reward or rebate programmes, resolution decisions, availability or rules, and we are not responsible for them. A venue may change or end a reward programme, restrict automated trading, suspend a market, resolve a market in a way you disagree with, or become unavailable. Venue names on the Service identify the venues we connect to and do not imply endorsement.
7. Fees
- The beta is free. Paid plans apply after the beta and are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, as shown at checkout.
- Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time, and your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
- On venues with builder programmes, a builder fee is added to your filled orders and deducted by the venue. The rate is shown before you start trading.
- We do not take a share of your trading profits.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice. Changes apply from your next billing period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.
8. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service to:
- manipulate any market, including wash trading, spoofing, layering or self-dealing;
- break the rules of any venue, or any law or regulation;
- get around eligibility, geographic or sanctions restrictions;
- copy, reverse engineer, resell or interfere with the Service, or probe it for vulnerabilities without our written consent;
- overload the Service or a venue, or access it by automated means other than our published interfaces.
9. Simulated data
Product previews, demonstrations and charts on the website use simulated or illustrative data unless they are clearly labelled as live. They are not a record of past performance and do not predict future results.
10. Automated and AI features
Some features use automated models, including news detection, market matching and resolution-risk scoring. Their outputs can be wrong, late or incomplete. They are tools that support the limits you set, not advice and not a guarantee that any risk will be avoided.
11. Availability and changes
The Service may be interrupted, delayed or changed, including for maintenance, venue outages or security reasons. We may add, change or remove features. If the engine loses its connection, it stops placing new orders; orders already resting on a venue remain there until filled or cancelled, and you can cancel them on the venue directly at any time.
12. No warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or profitable, or that any reward, rebate or result will be earned.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, trading losses, lost rewards, or loss of data, however caused. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose and one hundred US dollars. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
14. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and costs arising from your breach of these Terms, your breach of any venue's rules, or your violation of any law.
15. Suspension and termination
You can stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law or a venue, or to protect the Service or other users. On termination the engine stops trading for you, and you should revoke your keys on each venue.
16. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, text and the Celenbase name and logo, belongs to Celenbase and its licensors. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use the Service under these Terms.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If a change is material we will notify you by email or on the Service before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated Terms.
18. Contracting entity and governing law
Celenbase is being incorporated. The contracting entity, its registered address, the governing law and the forum for disputes will be stated in these Terms before the software opens to users. Until then, these Terms govern your use of the website and the early-access list only.
19. General
These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent; we may transfer ours as part of a reorganisation or sale. Our not enforcing a right is not a waiver of it.
